The Federal Government has finally announced restriction of entry into the country for travellers from 13 countries, including China, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Flights have also been banned from Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Japan, France, Germany, Norway, Netherlands and Switzerland.
The Government said on Wednesday that the restriction was precaution against further spread of coronavirus into Nigeria.
The travel ban will however, take effect from Saturday, and last for an initial period of four weeks.
