Nigeria has recorded 176 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, bringing the total new infections to 5,621, according to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
The total number of persons discharged is 1,472 while 176 deaths have so far been recorded.
The Centre explained the distribution of the new cases thus:
